Hello David,

Yes I know IE users are having problems. I was interested in a reply from Audrey.

I have been on and off all day with no problems. I use Firefox....but it HAS happened to me before, and I took nelmit's advice and used IE to get in. It worked fine.

Not that I am saying this is okay...there is obviously some sort of glitch that needs attending to.

Here's the reply from ScotlandsPeople

"This is a problem that occasionally occurs on one of the web servers
due to a memory leak. If you are unlucky and get routed to that web
server then you will not see the login box. (Note: You can actually
keep refreshing the browser page till you get another working web
server showing the box. For example I did not see the problem this
morning when I logged in and it is not one we can programmatically
monitor easily). Anyway we have a potential fix in test at the
moment. Meantime a simple restart of the web server service on the
particular server fixes the problem and that has been carried out
this morning so all is working fine now. Because we have multiple web
servers, most customers are unaware when this happens. Of course that
is probably of little consolation to those affected."

I just logged on without any problem. I use IE. Wonder if this is just a problem in the UK?

I've logged in a couple of times today with no problems. Think it just depends which server you happen to get.

Best wishes
Lesley

I had this problem this morning but a friend suggested going back to an earlier email from SP and clicking the link - I managed to get in this way.
May not always work but if it does it's a stop gap till the site gets the problem sorted.
