This is a Scottish Association of FHSs project, - there should be a first CD this month from SAFHS.

Other areas such as Fife, N Lanarkshire and Argyll have already published some material, - check with the FHSs covering those areas, - see the Societies tab here for contact details.

Ys, I've owned a copy of the Fife Index for several years now and found it of immense use, likewise a few of the Lanarkshire ones. I'm assuming this new compilation will cover other counties and perhaps put all the 'eggs in one basket'?
