SP problems and answers

Post by Grace Carrick » Mon Feb 12, 2007 9:29 pm

Could someone tell me what might be the ending of this Message received today from SP in response to my contacting them about not getting into the site because it won't accept my password.
They apologise for my problems, referring to the fact it might be my browser and to follow the following instructions which might help: ?????
Not a jot, no attachment, no instructions, zero, zilch, nothing. Any of you computer buffs out there who might be able to fill me in with the answer?

I cannot make it "PRINT SCREEN " I obviously am not set up for this on my old P C !!

I do not have LOG IN Problems, I have Viewing Problems.

When you look at S P search screen it has a line above
the Surname you are searching that states,
on the left of the page SEARCH .
When you do so it comes back with the results for that search saying how many found on so many pages,
then on the Right hand side of the same line there is meant to be a button that says VIEW.
There is NO VIEW BUTTON on my screen. :? :? :? :? :? :
It looks like the VIEW button has gone walk about.
I have tried changing all sorts of things and cleaned out all old stuff but still nothing .

Maureen, have you tried holding down the ALT button while you click the Print Screen button?

Never figured out why, but sometimes you need to do that to get the screen capture.

Immediately after doing that, open your image program or even Word and click on a new document, Paste, and it should be there.
