Hmmmm............... a rather neat Catch22 type situation !!
I'm sure that SP would be willing to make contact with SingTel Optus, but the sad reality is most probably that this part of the whole problem will be way, way down the list of priorities that Optus in Oz, and SingTel Optus overall are working on.
BTW, it does occur to me to wonder if the situation is simpler than we think in that the Taiwan cable breaks caused one or more SingTel DNS servers to go off-line, so that all that's required is to reboot these, but then maybe that's one out of several 100, even 1,000, tasks on the list for the SingTel technical support staff.
I'd be more than happy to submit a contact form on your behalf via the "Contact Us" section on the SingTel website. Such a contact form would be that more powerful, were it to be made on behalf of a number of Optus subscribers in Vic and SA ..........
I'll need details from you and others in terms of your Optus accounts .
