Births to 2006

Hello all
When I was on Scotlands people the other day and searching for a birth it said births 1855 - 2006 and deaths 1855 - 2006 this is a mistake isn't it?? or have I missed something really important!!!!

Hi James,
Yes, you have missed something very important

Log into Scotlands People and under LATEST UPDATE & NEWS click on Modern Records and you can read all about it

Just note that these are just the indexes and not the actual images for the records after the usual cutoff dates.
