No image

When you come up with a listing on SP and it says "no image" in the View column, does that mean that there is no certificate at all? Or just that they have no picture of it?

If I send them a contact form, will I maybe be able to get a transcript?

This is for a Birth, Baptism OPR from 1809.

Hi Carol,

It should mean there is some issue that has preventing the image from being available. I would be surprised if SP cannot come up with an image by e-mail for you. Submit a contact form.

Will do! In all the searching I've done on SP, this is the first time I've run into the no image problem and, of course, it's the one certificate that I really want!

This happened to me recently and I submitted a contact form.

I had a very prompt reply and the image was rescanned and emailed to me.

Hi Linda,

I wasn't so lucky. My contact form was answered promptly, but there was no image for them to rescan. SP referred me to GROS if I want to find out why there is no image. Could be a host of reasons including that the original is either missing or in such bad shape that it can't be scanned.

Yes, that was the reply I got from SP but I did contact GROS and they rescanned it and sent me the image. Try contacting them and hopefully you'll be lucky too.
