Why havent the marriages gone up by a year though, mine still says 1932, I thought they would have gone up as well.

Anne.

Thanks Andrew, I appreciate your reply as I thought I was being a bit simple again. My sister and I had a discussion and she thought they had already gone up, but I knew she was wrong. Will be waiting with bated breath now.

regards
Anne.

Does anyone know what we can expect to get in the new indexes & images that are going to be announced soon?

Valuation Rolls per chance !!!!!! [-o<
I'd like to be apathetic but I really can't be bothered.

Looking for blacksheep & not finding any with
Groats & Stevensons in Orkney, Hood's in Dundee/Angus, Mclaren's in Clackmannan and Jolly's in Kincardineshire. There may be more!

I've maybe missed something, but I thought the "new" stuff would just refer to the BMD additional year..... ? Is there something else due to be released? Not seeing any mention in their "LATEST UPDATE & NEWS" pages.

Best wishes

We are pleased to announce that new statutory images from the Statutory Register of Births for 1908 and the Statutory Register of Deaths for 1958 are now online. Statutory Register of Marriages (index and images) for 1933 will follow shortly.

A Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to everyone from ScotlandsPeople.

Please note that our help desk is planning to observe the public holidays of 25th & 26th Dec and 1st Jan & 2nd Jan. During this time we will however keep you informed of the site status via this online message system.

Finally, look out shortly for exciting announcements regarding the addition of new indexes and images to the site.

I assumed it would be marriage indexes to 2007.

Regards,
Annette
