Re: SP problems - 'previous searches' and 'viewed images'
Well, SP refunded me the cost of my five images which were no longer visible. (I had them downloaded in any case.) However I haven't had anything for the searches. And the point about the searches, to me, is that while I'd got some page images from them, there were others I was planning to get later, so have had to do some searches over again.
I just checked, from my 'previous searches', that the site was still asking me to pay again for CPR searches in Dundee, and indeed it is still doing so... SP did send me a message asking for details and I replied, but have heard nothing further other than that my images were refunded.

Hmm - I just checked the 'timeline' (thanks, Trish) and it had a lot of 'no images'. However I had only used it a little.
Then, went to the 'viewed images' which is now FULL of 'no images' too - not just the five that I had initially!
I then went into 'previous searches' to do some further checking. I can't access any of my images at all!
There's a message coming up, 'Please note that the image you have requested is not available to view. You have not been charged for this image.'
Aarrrgh! Somebody please tell me that they are working on the site and that it will all be restored soon!

Re: SP problems - 'previous searches' and 'viewed images'
It's exactly the same for me Jenny.
I'm hoping the same!
I do have most of my images downloaded to my computer but they aren't stored in the timeline format which I find very useful (or did!). However I haven't downloaded those images which I thought at the time weren't relevant.......
You live and learn!
Best wishes,
Meg

Re: SP problems - 'previous searches' and 'viewed images'
Hi all
Every one of my viewed images also says "no image", on every page of them... it must surely be some blip - a pretty big blip mind you. The weekend is probably when many folk who are working during the week can turn their attention to their family history research, so the timing is rather unfortunate.
There is some comfort perhaps in that it is happening to lots of us.
You do begin to wonder if the site is undergoing some maintenance work, and this is the temporary result, but if that is the case, I do wish they'd tell us on the home page!!
Best wishes
Lesley

Well, fingers crossed... yes, it's unfortunate timing for many of us.

Lets hope it is only a hiccup in the system, I spent a fortune (as many others have) on this site, & I mean a fortune I could have flown to the UK and back a couple of times.
