Re: SP price increase ?
Hi Tracey,
Yes there are price increases on the way for SP usage and visits to the SP Centre. The SP credit duration is to be extended.
The Registration Services (Fees) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2010 (SSI 2010/427)
These are the changes that will affect most people, and will come into effect on 01-April-2011.
To see the full text and full list of changes (some of which come into effect from 01-Jan-2011):

Re: SP price increase ?
The expiry limit is defined by government statute.
Statutory Instrument 1997 No. 1680 (S.127) (the Registration of Births, Deaths, Marriages and Divorces (Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1997), established the original session duration of 24 consecutive hours. This was confirmed by Statutory Instrument 1998 No. 643 (S.24).

Statutory Instrument 2003 No. 89 extended the session duration to 48 consecutive hours, with effect from 12 March 2003.

Statutory Instrument 2005 No. 100 extended the session duration to 168 consecutive hours, with effect from 1 April 2005.

Statutory Instrument 2006 No. 575 extended the session duration to 90 days, with effect from 1 January 2007.
