SP Centre

I see that booking a search place is now done only online and that you need your SP account to book a place.

Do you still use your SP Centre username at the Centre or is it now linked to your SP login details?

Hi Douglas,

Unless there has been any changes (which I don't think there has), then your SP Centre log-in is the one that you need. The SP Centre and SP online are separate entities with separate usernames, accounts, different software, more up-to-date indexes in the Centre, et cetera.

All the best,

It is your SP online login not your SP Centre login that you need to use now (see Booking a Search Place). You can save a record to your account for the same price as you do online or print it out for 25p (1 credit). Informed of the change by my local family history society who arrange evening visits. The other big change is that all the search rooms are now in General Register House - Reid and Adam Dome.
