It might be the case, - I'm guessing, - that the load on the site from the 1861 census release isn't helping the situation ........

I am also having frozen screen problems when I try to view previously paid and viewed images. Any idea when they will have the problem corrected?

Hi Jacmac

Are you running windows xp, they told me I had to use Java (I really dislike it) but it did solve the problem.

Hi Audrey

Yes, I am using Windows XP. I just don't see why I should have to change to Java when everything was working just fine prior to their adding of the 1861 Census. You would think that they would have at leasted tested the Windows software along with the other major ones that are being used by the members.

Hi JacMac,

Yes I agree and I really dislike Java (unless in coffee form) I have never had problems with SP before so I am not a happy bunny.

Audrey

ps Perhaps we should do what David always recomends and complain.
