I have been on for the past few days trying to get a few problems solved
Checked my records on another computer and they worked
And now I can also access page 42 etc at one click.
my problem was not with SP but my own computer settings

Here was my remedy.

1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options"
3) Under "Temporary Internet Files" click "Delete Cookies" and "Delete
Files".
4) Under "Temporary Internet Files" click the "Settings" button
5) Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages" change to "Every visit
to the page".
6) Click "OK"

Tried your advice. Still no images on ActiveX. Had previously tried Java and it worked fine.
Have been able to scroll pages box as usual unlike some other posters
