Hello everyone

I have had to send a contact form to SP as the stangest thing has happened.

I got 3 e-mails with 3 different passwords that I didn't request. I have been using the same password for over 3 years so how can I forget it and the thing is I was in the site yesterday.

Anybody experienceing the same problem?

:( hello angel. I am having a host of problems with SP. for starters Icannot login allthough I have been a member for 3 Years. same username same password. I tried to get through by re-registering but that did not work either. I keep getting a message in red print'you must enable your browser to accept cookies' why this after 3 years? I have sent 2 messages about this problem but had no return contact. Who else is having trouble.

Just came here to see if anyone was having the same problem. I've had at least 3 emails now, if not more (I can't remember exactly), despite not being on the site for ages.

Fee
I recently had a new password e-mail, much to my astonishment. I contacted someone at SP and this was the reply.

"What is very likely to have happened is that someone has followed the
'forgotten password' link and entered your username instead of their own by
mistake. You have received notice of the new password as it is sent to the
specified eMail address.

There will be no issue with security as the person who entered your username
will not have access to your eMail to get the new password. You can safely
use the new password which has been sent (or use the link again to get a new
one if you wish), then log in to the site and reset your password back to
what it was."

I had raised the question of a security issue with her.

Hope this helps, reassures you?

Best wishes
Catriona

Thanks very much. I've now changed my password (actually had forgot it myself after not using it for so long lol).
