Ballindalloch.....
Is there any way of checking to see if a person is still alive and/or she got married without typing their name as I know you are not supposed to put living persons names on the net without permission. Bit of a problm as I dont know if she is still alive.Born approx 1928 Ballindalloch

Hi gloryer
I would imagine if you were only typing the name in a pay per view website it's not the same as "putting it on the 'net". If you've already attempted looking on the Scotland's People website in the Marriage and Death records that are available online and found nothing then you could always visit New Register House in person and search the records right up to the current day. There are no restrictions for Birth, Marriage, and Death research as far as I know of. If not possible for you to do the searching yourself then perhaps you could find someone who would look on your behalf next time they go there. If all else fails....well.....that's what they created paid reserachers for
!
Good luck....and best wishes....
