There is a picture in the Gallery which I believe is someone I am looking for in my reasearch. Can you tell me how to go about making contact with the person who place it in the Gallery?

Welcome to TalkingScot! Yes, I can help you with your inquiry. I would suggest posting a message on the General Discussion Board and cut & paste the "url" address of the picture you need help with.
Once the picture is identified, you could contact them member by sending a private message.
Oh Frank it sounds exciting, but a word of caution. If the picture is of a living person who may still be alive, we may not be able to help.

In the picture information it should tell you who the album belongs to.
ie -Albulm Name - nelmit - poorhouse app
That one has been entered by me, nelmit.
You can then search for the member by name and PM them or leave a message on the board.
Hope this makes sense.

If you click on any picture in the gallery it should give you a the name of the member who posted it. You can leave a comment on the photo (I' m not sure if they are sent a message telling them this has been added though)
So, just to make sure....If you then (back in the forum) click on the search link (top of teh page) and enter the username in the "search for author" box it should bring up posts of theirs with a PM button at the bottom of each post. If you click on that button you can send the member a message.
There may be an easier way, I'm sure there must be.... but I just can't think of it right now!
