Offer - Applecross information

Post by kathyc » Fri Mar 02, 2007 9:18 pm

I've spent about $40 this week at SP :!: finding out all sorts of useful things about my dead rellies, much of which I would never have found without the generous help of the members here. I'd like to offer some help in return.

As you might expect, much of what I found has extra information pertaining to other families on the register and search pages.

I know I can't reproduce it per SP's copyright policy, but if it might be of use to you, I'm happy to tell you what I've found. Please contact me if you have Applecross connections, and I'll be pleased to share the info

My searches include info on "M*clean" children born in Applecross between 1844-1854, and birth, death, and marriage registers in the same area for various years between 1808 and 1929.

I know it's a long shot, but on the off chance you're looking in that area and want to check what I have, let me know.

Kathy

Marilyn,

Fair enough. Having benefitted from the generous help I've found here, I was hoping to be able to give back to someone else if it was of use. I didn't realize that a general heads up about my areas of research went against the intent of David's post. Sorry.

Hi Kathy,

No problem what so ever! Your post had been sitting there and I wanted to point you in a direction, where some other folks on the www could benefit from your kind offer. Sue Lund's site is a fabulous place to deposit the information, you're willing to share. Best of luck...

Marilyn
