Silver Badge Records - help please

Post by casserole » Fri Nov 11, 2011 12:28 pm

Hello andhHelp!

Can someone tell me how I can access the Silver Badge Records on Ancestry. I have been a subscriber to Ancestry in the past so can login with my details. When I try to access the Silver Badge Records through the Free link and find a name that I want details of I click on VIEW DETAILS and I am taken to Ancestry's page offering a free trial for 14 days. I don't want this. All I want is to view the Silver Badge Records. Where am I going wrong?

Hope someone can sort this out!

Hi Carole,

It seems that the Silver War Badge records are not part of the current free access to military records in honour of Remembrance Day. They can only be accessed with a paid subscription of 'Premium' membership or higher or (presumably) as part of the 14 day free trial.

Just make sure if you sign up for the free trial that you cancel the subscription by the end, or my understanding is that it then automatically reverts to a paid membership at the appropriate cost.

Best wishes

Brian
