I've been off the forum for a while - sorry for my tardy response!

My dad was Alistair Roxburgh. His mate, Peter Wilson, was a rellie (uncle, I think) of the Macaulay family.

Interested in the info on Peter Wilson. My dad was born in Uphall in 1906 and lived in Broxburn. He was a coal miner around the 30's and jiinde the Merchant Navy about 1939. I am wondering if there is a link with your comments. I think he married (or lived with) Elizabeth Anderson who died in 1939. I know that someone of the family still live in Broxburn. If any of this makes sense to you, let me know.
