Identifying people in WW2 photographs.....

Post by sporran » Tue Feb 15, 2005 11:37 am

Hello,

The National Archivist site has a new feature, Home Front Recall, that lets people send their photographs from World War 2 for re-uniting people or identifying people or places in a photograph. The site can be found at http://www.nationalarchivist.com , and select Home Front Recall from the panel on the left.

Please note that the site is completely different to The National Archives.

Regards,

John

Hi John, your comma has got caught up in the URL so the link doesn't work.
Searching for Keogh, Kelly, Fitzgerald, Riddell, Stewart, Wilson, McQuilkin, Lynch, Boyle, Cairney, Ross, King, McIlravey, McCurdy, Drennan and Woods (to name but a few).

Also looking for any information on Rathlin Island, County Antrim, Ireland.

Hello Andy,

thanks, I have edited it. Nasty when you get your comma caught in your URL!

John
