Hospital Records.....
Does anyone know how to find out the birth place of someone who died in Hospital (Stobhill Glasgow) the Greater Glasgow health Board Archivist can't help, but it seems strange place of birth is not recorded when admitted to hospital, even back in 1941. And anyone with information as to which Cemetary might be used at this time from Berkeley St Glasgow would also be appreciated.

Were the hospital able to give you the date of birth? Or have you got the persons age on the Death certificate?
If you have the exact date of birth or age and if the name is not too common, it should be possible to do a genaral birth search on the Scotlands People site.
Sorry I can't help you with cemetary information, but others on the board may well be able to.
