just like to add , that i too am proud of my ancestors, it never ceases to amaze me how they overcame, the trials and tribulations of their time. Afew months ago i visited the little village in Ireland[Ballymore Teelin Donegal] were my ggreatgrandmother came from,and i often wonder how did she make it to Scotland,she must have walked many miles ,over rough terrain, to reach a boat to Scotland, i was told the fare to Scotland from Ireland in the 1800s was sixpence,a small fortune in those days.
