Hi Annie
At a quick look I thought maybe Farrower or Harrower - but I don't think the first letter is really an F or an H.... and it looks more like it ends "...nower". Not a huge help, sorry

Best wishes
Lesley

I saw "ower" as the name ending and have spent ages trying to think of a name with that ending which would fit. Flower?

Hello Annie,
I came across this thread when i was having a little wander around the forum, and i was wondering if there might be any connection between your Peter Boag, and my gtgt grandmother Mary Boag, who was born in Govan, Glasgow in 1873. I know she did have a brother, but have no information whatsoever on him. I think there may have also been a sister, Bridget. Her parents were, John and Ellen (Helen?). Thanks, Carol :)

Boags

Post by Annieboag » Tue Apr 11, 2006 9:25 am

Hello Carol, unfortunately most of our Boags are from Dunning, Perth, but ended up In Glasgow later in the early 1900s. One off the off shoots, Peter lived in Govan but not until 1890 and his Mary Jane wasnt born until 1898 I think. Happy to provide more details if you like!
Regards
Annie
