Keeps a Noddy.....

Came across this as an occupation. "Keeps a Noddy" What is that? It's nothing to do with any of mine I am just curious !

A Dictionary ! Why didn't I think of that ?!! I suppose I thought it sounded like a word that would be out of use. Thanks Andrew. This was a lady's occupation and I wasn't even thinking of anything like that.

You may well ask !!! The mind boggles. Maybe it was because I had just scanned down through a census result which listed a man as Flesher/Brothel Keeper

and then the woman below as Brothel Keeper

Was it ok to admit to that then ??? I have led a sheltered life.
