I believe that I may have a relative who played for Queen's Park in the 1915 and 1916 seasons. I have found a McConnachy on the score sheet for Queen's Park in both seasons -

I have written to the Secretary of Queen's Park to see if I can find more information on the player eg DoB, where he was from and maybe even a photo but no response yet.
Any other ideas to track down a possible football relative?
Justin

Re: Football - Queen's Park
Remember that it's an amateur club, so the secretary and others are probably volunteers.McConnachy wrote:I believe that I may have a relative who played for Queen's Park in the 1915 and 1916 seasons. I have found a McConnachy on the score sheet for Queen's Park in both seasons -

Another connected problem in terms of the amateur aspect is that an awful lots of amateurs had a trial for the club, or played just a few matches.
You might be better to Google for one of the many histories of the club that I'm sure exist, and see if you can track down a copy.
