Brickfield worker?

I've just uploaded a file for Joseph Lipsett. I looks like his occupation is a brickfield worker. I've checked this in the occupations sites that I have bookmarked, but found nothing by that title.

Would he have worked in what is known as a brickyard here in Canada? That would be where the bricks are stored after the ovens, waiting for sale.

Hi Frances,

According to Chambers Dictionary:

Brickfield: a place where bricks are made.

So it looks like Joseph made bricks.
