Liberton Churchyard & Cemetery

[Southside Chaz]

Since October this i have been trying to catalogue the graves in Liberton near Edinburgh.

I have almost finished and they have been added to the find my grave website. I have added the GPS fir each one in case people wished to visit or want a clearer picture from me

You have had your work cut out for you pacing up and down Liberton Cemetery - quite steep in parts.

I have been there on many occasions, usually to visit my paternal grandparents' grave. They are not on the list at findagrave yet, but I guess are on their way onto your workload there. They were both deceased before I was born. They and a cousin of mine [who died at less than a day old in the early 1960s] are buried in the plot there. My cousin is not listed on the headstone, but I have seen the lair record that lists her as having been buried there.

If you let me have their surname i will keep an eye out

Their names are Robert Graham Paterson and Ann Orr Paterson (nee Cruickshanks). From memory, they are almost at the back wall of the cemetery, just up from one of the access roads.
