Brand new computer: Yes
Same old operator: Yes
Which just means i've transferred my "L" plates...

I've yet to connect the old hard drive to that enclosure thingie that Maggie thoughtfully suggested.
Finally decided on a Sharkoon DriveLink because it looked the simplest to operate.
I'm dearly hoping it will be! [-o<
But i just can't find the time to try it out since the cooncil put in the new heating.
One reason (of many) being that i had to move a few thoosan books, and now i have to put them all back...
Also yet to find many loose files, printouts, notes etc.
If i've forgotten to do anything for anyone, then please let me know - ta.

So at the moment i'm in a bigger than usual guddle...can't really do much till i get all my old stuff transferred.
I just know it's going to take me months to get back to normal...
...never thought i'd be looking forward to being back in my usual mess!
