John

Thank you so very much. I went and visited my John and Catherine this morning and you're right, they are mine!
I've used wild cards before in my searches, I don't know why I didn't think of doing that here. Perhaps as Casey is my maiden name it is sacrosanct?! Anyway, you have taught me not to leave any stone unturned - even altering my own name.
I now have the more difficult task of trying to find if there are any records of John's death in Ireland. Will have to contact the Bishops' Conference or something to see if they have a record of their priests. As it was a Black and Tan shooting in a time of trouble there may not be any official records of the incident. Also I'm not sure where exactly it happened. Perhaps i'm on a hiding to nowhere!!
Thanks again for your invaluable help.

Hi Harleysinger
I unfortunately don't recognise any of your Casey names. James doesn't occur in my Casey line so far, and I don't recognise any of the Spouses' surnames.
Good luck in your search, hope it's better than mine!!
Cheers
Annpa
