Hi all
The George Davies in the 1901 was still alive at the time of death of his father David Davies in 1941 - he was the death informant, and at the same address in Burntisland - 23 Somerville Street, so I think this may rule him out as a candidate - the elusive grandfather George was in England by then. I think I'll leave the mystery of his birth to some other poor soul to work out!!
