Hello all,
Many thanks for straining your eyes on my behalf, mine have taken a vacation from looking at this image! The Alexander in question is the son of James Wishart and Ann Abernethy, his wife, Helen Dick is on the next page (equally unreadable). I think I might just put in a request for a better image! Unfortunately he died in 1858 so no more info past 1851.
Thanks again,
Scott

Hi Tracey,
Yes, the Lanarkshire one is incorrect. There seems to have been confusion over this Alexander Wishart as there were three Captain Alexander Wisharts all from different regiments periodically living in Scotland during the first half of the nineteenth century. I'm unravelling them all - so to speak!
Thanks again,
Scott
