If you couldn't find that MC either, I feel better. I don't know what else to try so will have to let it sit for bit. Loose ends are a drag, especially when there seem to be more of them than tied ones!
I agree that they did likely get married and we just aren't looking in the right place. The information on a Mary Darling Scougall/ Robert Crookston MC would surely make nice bows of some of our ends. All the best, alysone
