Does this seem right

Post by crayspond » Wed Feb 06, 2008 3:41 pm

I posted this earlier and i just wondered do you think the name Pretswell could be taken for Purcell? even with wildcards.

I am looking for John Purcell on the 1891 and 1901 census. I am interested in the John born 3/04/1873 he married Annie Rodgers born 1872 or 1873. They married in 1904 in Gorbals, Glasgow. I can find his family on the 1881 census in Barony Glasgow but i am stuck after that.
I am going round in circles, i have tried umpteen variations of Purcell. I came up with this one a few minutes ago.
