Hi Steiner,

A quick search using that name and address got nothing, using only the address came up with no-one of that surname and using only the street got three pages, none of whom had that surname.

However, that was on Ancestry. You'd be better getting some credits on Scotlands People and trying on there yourself. More chance of the transcriptions being accurate.

Hello Steiner,

I couldn’t find anything connecting a Morrison to 75 Hospital Street in the Glasgow Herald. No less than 9 Birth and death events are advertised at that address 1857-1867 all with different surnames. There’s nothing else until the 1890s.

It sounds very much like a Tenement area, possibly like this one at 190-2 Hospital Street Glasgow which could contain many families and possibly with a high tenancy turnover. http://books.google.com.au/books?id=l4g ... 2&as_brr=3

All the best,
Alan
