I would appreciate if someone could do a 1841 census look up for me.

Name: Bernard MURPHY
1851 census New Monkland Airdrie
Bernard MURPHY 40 coal miner head
Jean Murphy 45
Mary Murphy 20 works in mill dau
Sarah Murphy 19 works in mill dau
David Murphy 16 coal miner son
Hannah Murphy 14 works in mill dau
Jean Murphy 12 house servant dau

1851 census New Monkland Airdrie
Samuel Johnston 42 spirit dealer head
Mary Johnston 48 wife
Henery Johnston 16 ironstone miner son
Catherine Johnston 13 scholar dau
Catherine Johnston married David MURPHY 1859

Hullo Toro.

It seems that no one has access to the Airdrie 1841 Census, since noone has responded to your request for a look-up. Sorry about that.

Don't let it stop you asking for help on any other queries you have.

Do hope your research is moving forwards (should that be backwards?

Hi Toro

Hopefully, - you wouldn't believe the parts of my anatomy that are crossed

- the 1841 index and digitised images will be on line at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk within the next wee while, hopefully much less than a year, but there's been so many disappointments with the date so far that I daren't specify a date ........
