finding an address at ancestry

Post by AileenA » Mon Sep 07, 2009 1:27 pm

Hello

Can anyone tell me how to find out who lived a certain address in 1901 on ancestry. I've tried putting the address in but it gives me hundreds of results and none that I can find are the address I want! :(

The address is 37 Morningside Crescent, Edinburgh for 1901.

Thanks for your help.

Putting Morningside Cres/cent, with or without 37, at Midlothian gives zero results. 37 Morningside gives a Miller family at 37 Morningside Park.

Just Morningside gives 2,300 odd results.

Hopefully somebody with local knowledge will know if the Crescent was known by another name.

Annette

There isn't a Morningside Crescent, and as far as I'm aware there never has been. I lived in the area for my first 26 years.

All the best,
