Census 1871 is missing parent(s) .....

Post by Dennis » Sat Aug 13, 2005 6:48 pm

Hi,

I have an 1871 census where the only entries are for 5 of a possible 8 or 9 children ( the firstname, Elizabeth is used twice ) and no parent(s). The family is that of William Boyd Stevenson and his wife Janet.

Hi Dennis,

The parent(s) will be on the previous page, possibly with some older children. On the page you have, you will notice there is no head of the family, only sons and daughters.

All the best,

Andrew
