Is it even reasonable to expect to find anything this early in the period? I'm looking for 3 brothers John William, William John and (poor poor) Arthur McArthur.
John married Christiania Blair before leaving Scotland. In 1804 all 4 of them left Perthshire on a ship called the Rose Ann/Roseanne/Roseanna and landed in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada...apparently the New Brunswick gov't brought 7 families over to Canada, they were McArthurs, McVeys, Blairs, Frasers, McGregors and Kings...why I don't know.

The many ghosts are always a part of them, inescapable."
