1911 Census Britain .....

What was the date for the 1911 Census

I am looking for my elusive Margaret McNay born about 1909, daughter of James McNay and Maggie Baxter.

Depending upong the date of that census. Margaret may be in Fife or Glasgow.

Hi Dona

If you click on the link to Census in the above TalkingScot header you'll find all the dates and pertinent info about the various census records. Unfortunately you won't be able to search the 1911 census until sometime in 2012

. And if the DOB you state is accurate that too will not be available to search online through SP for another 5 years! You can access the birth records in person at New Register House however. Not great news I know.....
