1911 Census on Ancestry

Post by speleobat2 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 12:16 am

Ancestry has put up the first of their transcriptions of the 1911 census.

Records for Wales, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are supposed to be fully searchable as of now.

Unfortunately, I have no relatives in any of those places!

Thanks Carol,

That’s just what we need, a bit of competition in the 1911 England-Wales census database area that will help to drive prices down.

I have some Welsh relatives I could rent or sell if you’re interested, including some eminent ones at a slight premium.

All the best,
Alan
