looking for someone in 1911 I know was born in 1910 ?

My granny was born 1910 (I have her birth certificate) but I can't find her in 1911 census ... she doesn't appear to be with her mother or her fathers family (they weren't married)
He then married someone else in 1912 ... Any suggestions gratefully received ..

Have you seen her mother and father in 1911 and she is with neither of them?

Have you tried searching using both her mother's and father's surname?

Do you want to give details of her birth and maybe someone will be able to help.

Sometimes you have to go sideways - do you know of any married siblings of her parents'?
she may very well be living with one of them or with her grandparents' siblings?
extended families absorbed little ones out of wedlock in those days.

I have both parents on the Census at different addresses in the area

Father is living with parents at the address he gets married from in 1912
Mother is at another address where she lives and works

Jessie Wilson Stronach was born Aug 1910 in Mortlach (Dufftown) Banffshire
Father is James wilson Stronach
Mother is Isabella Rose

Apologies in advance if it isn't her but there is a Jessie Stonach age 0 indexed in 1911 at Mortlach - I wonder if her name has been mis-indexed.

I have been searching for her since the 1911 came out. I had tried wild cards and everything ....I know its her because of place of birth.
No idea how she is still there at 6 months old though

So who was she living with in 1911?
Could be an outlying branch of the family.

The people she was living with are totally unknown to me ... not relations at all.

Not something that's ever been discussed and not really anyone to ask now ....
