Hi all I'm also tracing this part of my family. These are also my ancestors. Mary evers and James duggan an did have a daughter Mary Jane duggan. They where Irish catholics and moved to Scotland I believe and changed there name to dougan for that reason. My grandfather was James dougan born 1920 and his father was John Thomas dougan 1886. My grandfather and his sister told me there was a family of 13 however I seen someones tree and they say 14 children. 3 of the boys were called Robert. 2 died as babies. I had the birth certificates for both boys years back. Steven if u r reading this I believe u r my mums cousin and would love to work with u on this. Emma x
