Can anyone tell me what parish Ardishaig would be in on the OPR

Hi Davie,

According to the Statistical Accounts for Scotland (1845) Ardrishaig is in South Knapdale parish. This is backed up by the 1890s counties maps, showing parishes at http://www.nls.uk/digitallibrary/map/ea ... _list.html
(sheet 29). South Knapdale is the blue coloured parish at the west edge of that map.

Never mind the County
Inverness or Argyle?

Argyllshire (until 1974 when they did away with the counties).
