Census Look-up 1851 PEEBLES .....

Post by Maggie McKean » Wed Sep 21, 2005 10:35 am

I would be very grateful if anyone with access to an 1851 Census for Peebles could look-up for a James Grieve and his wife Janet and a possible daughter Jane. James Grieve would be aged around 50 - 55 and perhaps working as a railway porter.

Many thanks,

Maggie

Maggie

I had noted your names with the intention of looking up the 1851 Census when in the Borders. However the best laid plans o' mice and men.........

Hope someone else can do so for you.

By the way I thought it would be good to move your post to the Census Forum. OK?

All the best Catriona
