Census help please

Post by crayspond » Sun Aug 23, 2015 9:46 am

Hi to all at TS,
I printed out a census page from SP and the information for the family continues on to the next page. I think it is only another 1 child who is recorded. Could anyone have a look for me and let me know? I am doing the research for an elderly relative to thank her for sending me an old photograph. I don't want to spend another 5 credits but I still want to be certain of the number of children listed. Its the 1891 census 501/00 002/00 020 Joanna McKellar Old Kilpatrick father Duncan. It will be the next page.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Maggie,
Yes this is the family. I was looking for the daughter Joanna age 3, I assumed she was on the next page but to spend 5 credits just to see this was a bit of a waste. This happened to me before with SP and they kindly let me view the next page. I have emailed them but as yet have had no reply. That's why i posted on good old Talking Scot! I do think if you spend 5 credits to see a whole family you should see it complete.
The Joanna age 3 went on to marry James Hardie - my grandfather's brother. Their daughter is who sent me a lovely photo of my grandfather and the whole family. As she doesn't know much about her mother's family i am sending her some info. Thanks again for looking this up for me.

Regards,
