Flanagan help again please

Post by crayspond » Fri Apr 17, 2020 2:42 pm

Hi Everybody,
I'm probably like everyone else on TS - turning to genealogy even more to keep me going throughout the lockdown. Stay safe everybody.
I'm trying to find the children of Thomas and Bridget Flanagan (my great grandparents) in the 1891 census. Thomas and Bridget (Devine) are on the 1891 census staying with her mother Bridget Devine widow 49 and her brother Martin Devine unmarried 27 at 1 South Stirling St Tradeston Laurieston Glasgow. My grandmother Ann was born in 1886 in the Gorbals. Her older brother James in 1884 and a younger brother Martin in 1894 both Glasgow. I have them on the 1901 census with father Thomas - Bridget having died in 1896. As Martin was not yet born in 1891 James and Ann must have been somewhere on that night. It might help me find other relations to my elusive Flanagan family. ( many posts on here about them)!
I know it's a long shot but it's worth a try (various spelling of the name - I tend to use Flan**gan in the search).
Thanks in advance for reading this,

Ailsa
