My sentiments too!!!
Gone over the limit and must be more issues here than COVID!
Do they actually have these records, are we being blindfolded?
At this rate some of us will not be around to fix the ](*,) .

Hopefully Scotland's People are going to give us FREE access to this Census when it is finally available, as compensation, or is that too much to wish for!
Be a nice Christmas present. xmas:roll: xmas:roll: xmas:roll: xmas:roll: xmas:roll:

Look on the bright side. By the time this one turns up you’ll only have eight years to wait for the next one. Pity the poor English, for a proper census, they’ll have to wait until ………………….2051!

It should be noted that:
Upcoming Essential Maintenance - Wednesday 23rd November 2022

ScotlandsPeople will be offline for maintenance on 23 November. The ScotlandsPeople Centre in Edinburgh will be closed and the site will be unavailable in local history centres. We are upgrading our system and migrating storage, and we apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.

If you have a booking in our ScotlandsPeople Search Rooms on 23rd November, we will be in contact with you directly to re-arrange or to provide a refund.
Dare we hope that this is an omen of good things to come?
Time to dust off those lists methinks.

When ScotlandsPeople put up their maintenance notice on Facebook, people questioned of this was for the release of the 1921 census.

Answer as follows...
"We’re making changes to the platform to make the site faster, more secure and more robust. We are due to release records from the 1921 Census before the end of this year."

I would take from that not to expect the 1921 census to be with us in the next few days. No harm in holding out that bit of hope though.

All the best,

AndrewP

It'll need to be very
"Robust
" to cope with the influx when the census is released - so I'll shine that wee bit Hope up brighter [star]

Just got the most exciting email from Scotland's People.

19 hours and counting until we crash the website.

9am GMT Wednesday the 30th of November 2022 for the launch of the 1921 census.

On your marks....
