LOOKING FOR Peter & Elizabeth MCDONACH 1871/1881 .....

I have Peter Mcdonach who married Elizabeth King @ Kirklintolloch Dunbarton 1866.
Found 2 children
Henry Mcdonach b Kirklintolloch 1868 ( mothers name as kane)
Agnes Mcdonach " " 1870

From a Lanarkshire poor relief record of Elizabeth’s father John King 1878
It does say she has 6 children living in Kirklintolloch at that time. It seems that Elizabeth Husbands name is not clear on the record.
It said Peter ???? boatman, Kirklintolloch

Elizabeth was witness at her mothers death Agnes Robertson 1897
But can’t fathom out what name she has signed Elizabeth king ??????
I have put Agnes Robertson’s death certificate in gallery.

I have looked again been on SP even with a couple of different spelling but couldn't find anything.
So any help would be great.

Hi Ali,

Not sure of the start but the last 3 letters look like 'ona' so I am assuming she told the registrar McDonnagh and his interpretation was McDona.

I had wondered if the name was written as McDonacchie - the last four letters continued on to the next line, beside her X mark.

You're right Andrew, I saw that and thought it was a scribble to do with her mark.
