1871 Census-Edinburgh, Liverpool or Manchester .....

Post by angel » Fri Dec 16, 2005 8:49 pm

Hello

I need a census lookup for Ann Menzies m.s Steven with 2 children Catherine age 2 and George age three.

There is a good chance she is on her own in Edinburgh as her husband is with wife No 1 in the 1871 census in Edinburgh. Can anyone help please?

Heather

You'll find the 1871 Census for Edinburgh on-line on Scotland's People.

Hello

It has turned out that this family wasn't mine.

Well at least now you know. It's true isn't it that proving who doesn't have a place on our tree is just as important as proving who has?

All the best for your ongoing research
