McLurg/Mcleod .....

I am looking for Malcolm and Jean McLeary(McLearie) and their daughter Jane in the 1841/ 51 census for Kirkmaiden Wigtonshire.

Jean parents are listed on her death certificate as Thomas McLeod and Jane Cowden. Could not find any trace of this family but have noted that for some reason the surname McLeod and Mclurg seams to be transposed around this area :? .
I did find a Thomas McLurg and Jean Cowdan so could this couple be her parents? :o
