missing David BARNES .....

Would someone be kind enough to look up my 5GGrandfather in the 1881 Census. His name was David BARNES maybe (BARONS). His wife was Mary. They had at least one son named Robert.

Doubtful this is him....but he's the only David with a wife anything like Mary...but no son Robert...and not in Dumbarton!!

I've looked for all David's any last name in Dumbarton and none show up with a wife Mary and son Robert. I've also looked for any David born in Dumbarton anywhere. Nada on possibles.

Any other suggestions??

Hi Dibit,

There is a ROBERT Barnes with wife Mary and son Robert (born 1872) living in Dumbarton in 1881. He has a brother David born 1868. Mary's maiden name is Oliver.
